Linear Plastics was established in 1974 and is a privately owned company based in the South Wales Valleys. The injection moulding specialists provide services to a wide range of industries such as office furniture, construction, aerospace, medical and electronics.

Our objective was to create an identity that would have clever subtleties related to what they do. Paying care and attention to the shape and structure of the machinery used, we decided to create a square icon that would be split down the centre to represent tools coming together and forming a mould.
The type was carefully considered, we wanted a mixture of complimentary curves and precision to reflect injection moulding. The space between the two words was purposely removed to show two plastic parts being formed into one. The royal blue was their original colour which we were happy to continue using.

Linear Plastics asked us to create a half-page advert explaining who they are and what they do. We decided to use an enlarged product shot to engage the reader, accompanied by a dynamic blue panel outlining their company USPs and call to actions.
To make something appear slick and simple in application requires a huge amount of attention to detail to everything running in the background, and that’s what you get from the guys at Finbi Design. Great people to work with and they deliver a quality product.

After careful competitor analysis we had a clear idea of what we needed to do to make the company stand out. The website had to be clean, engaging and modern with great usability.
The home page was not only designed to introduce Linear Plastics but to provide a gateway for visitors to access all important areas of the site.
All pages provide visitors with everything they need to know, for example each service page contains a detailed overview, image gallery, contact form and related case studies.

Following the number of sign-ups generated by the new website, we were approached to design a HTML newsletter. The look and feel had to be consistent to the brand with its content primarily focussed on news, events and articles.
